Cold Applied Solvent Based Bituminous Sealant

NOLEAK® MASTIC FILLER is a single-component, cold-applied, rubberized solvent based bituminous Sealing compound to be used in flexible roads, bridges and construction joints.

Application

  • Joints in garages, filling stations and other places of construction joints like in warehouse floors and secondary containment of walls and floors of artificial water ponds.
  • Bridge / road joints.

Application Methodology

#Surface Preparation
  • Remove all loose gravel, dirt, oil, grease and foreign matter by jet of dry air and clean the surface mechanically or by grinding to make it smooth before application.
#Material Preparation
  • Stir NOLEAK® MASTIC FILLER by a slow speed mixture (approx. 400 rpm) fitted with a suitable mixing paddle to ensure a homogenous mix.
  • After stirring, wait for the product to settle in order to let entrapped air escape.
#Application of Material
  • Prime surface with BRITEX Primer @ 0.300 L / m2.
  • Allow it to dry for 24 hrs.
  • Apply NOLEAK® MASTIC FILLER on the prime surface.

Health & Safety

  • Avoid contact with skin / eyes and avoid swallowing.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid inhalation of vapour.
  • Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye protection.
  • In case of skin contact, rinse with plenty of clean water, then cleanse with soap and water. Do not use solvent to clean the contacted area.
  • In case of eye contact, wash with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice.
  • If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.

Storage

Keep in cool and dry place, in air tight containers, under shed, away from heat.

Shelf Life

10 years in original unopened sealed conditions.
